Great Website Design Books
When it comes to and development there is almost too much information that can be found on the internet to help guide you through any problems and help you produce excellent websites.
In my experience the information found on the web can be excellent or terrible depending on the site and source, so at times it can be disjointed and not exactly what you’re looking for, especially if you are new to the industry.
Don’t get me wrong, it’s the same with books too, some are good, some not so. In my opinion you are less likely to go wrong with a book than a particular site. As with most blogs and informative sites they don’t give you a starting point, a book distributes information in a structured manner making it a far better learning experience (in my opinion).
I have decided to list a variety of design books that tackle various issues and offer excellent advice for newbies and guru’s. These include learning the basics in web design (CSS), website design standards and good practices, help for inspiration and how to approach freelancing or starting your own design business.
If you are unsure about taking just my word for it, I have provided links to testimonials, previews and the authors websites so you can gain as much info as you need. If you have read any excellent books be sure to comment below as we would love to give them a look.

Excellent list. A couple of those are on my Christmas wish (aka things I’m going to buy after I’m done spending money for others on Christmas.
